Guide to Online Registration
This document is designed to help you complete your initial online registration and renewing / amending your existing registration.

New Registrations
If you are making a new Registration, you need to select "Start the Registration Process" under the "New Company Registration" heading.

Step 1 - Your Details
Section 1
If you are an individual or sole trader, give your surname and first name(s). A partnership should include the name of the firm and the names of each of the partners. Where the data controller is a company, the name of the company should be given, along with a trading name (if different) and the address should be that of the registered office. Persons other than companies should give the address of the principal place of business.
Section 2
A contact name should also be listed to whom applications for access would be addressed.
Step 2 – Personal Data
Section 3
Provide a general, but comprehensive, statement of the nature of your business, trade or profession and of any additional purposes for which you keep personal data.
Section 4
Also list/describe each application of personal data, relating to the purpose(s) , together with the types of personal data (e.g. name, address, date of birth, email address, staff ID number) kept or used in connection with that application.
Give full details also of any personal data kept in relation to the purpose(s) listed, but not normally associated with any of the applications you have listed.
Section 5
For each application listed, list the persons or bodies (or categories of them) to whom the personal data may be disclosed.
Section 6
For each application, list the countries or territories (if any) to which you transfer, or intend to transfer, personal data directly or indirectly; along with a description of the data to be transferred and the purpose of transfer.
Step 3 - Sensitive Data
Section 7
Select the type(s) of sensitive data, other than as kept in respect of your employees in the normal course of personnel administration and not used or disclosed for any other purpose. Also, state for which of the applications specified at Section 4 each of these kinds of data is kept.
Section 8
Does any of the personal data kept by you consist of information which you are required by law to make available to the public. Select Yes or No.
Section 9
Are you a data processor who is required to register? (i.e. are you a person whose business consists wholly or partly in processing personal data on behalf of others?) . Select Yes or No.
Section 10
Enter the details of the individual (if any) who will supervise the application of the Act within your organisation in relation to the personal data with which this application for registration is concerned. Note: This is the person to whom we will address all correspondence in connection with this application for registration.
Step 4 - Payment
In this section, select the relevant payment amount, and then click the "Pay Now" button.
You are then presented with a confirmation page, stating the Name of the organisation and the fee payable. Once you are satisfied that the details are correct, click on "Confirm".

You will then be presented with a page requesting your card details. Once you have entered all the details, click on "Pay Now".

Renewing / Amending your Registration on-line.
If you are already registered, you may access your registration by logging in with a login and password. These details will have included in your renewal notices.
To access your registration, under "Returning Customer", enter your login and password, then click on the login button, highlighted below.

You will then be asked if you wish to modify your record or renew your registration. If you wish to do both, i.e. renew your registration but also amend the details, then you should first modify the record and then, once the changes have been made, renew your registration.

Modifying Your Record
Once you click on "modifying your record", you will be presented with your registration details. Please make the necessary changes and then click on "Update your record" to save your changes.
Renew Your Registration
Once you select "renew your registration" you will be presented with a screen listing your organisation name and the fees payable. Select the fee applicable and the click on "Pay Now".
You are then presented with a confirmation page, stating the Name of the organisation and the fee payable. Once you are satisfied that the details are correct, click on "Confirm".
You will then be presented with a page requesting your card details. Once you have entered all the details, click on "Pay Now".

You will now be presented with a payment confirmation page.

You should print this page for your own records.
Once you have registered, your registration will be processed by this office and an acknowledgement of receipt will be forwarded to you.
